Brie Larson has taken her role as one of the strongest Avengers very, very seriously. Regardless of the backlash from some fans, Larson’s Captain Marvel is set to have a long run in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and will help lead the future of the franchise. With her sequel film, The Marvels, getting ready to begin production soon, Larson has shared a couple of her workout videos on her very active social media.
Larson took to Instagram to post a few videos of her intense workouts to get into superhero shape. Gone are the days of old when actors and actresses simply put on a muscle suit and went through the motions to knock out a B level movie. In the modern era, the superhero genre of cinema has grown into a top notch medium of blockbuster movies. In turn, actors these days train their butts off to get themselves into the physical specimens we see on the screen. Larson is no exception, pushing herself beyond her limits to make sure she embodies Carol Danvers not only mentally, but physically as well.
The actress is killing it in these workouts with her personal trainer, Jason Walsh, pushing her to give it her best. These workouts are intense, to say the least. But Larson is in great spirits throughout and goes to show that she is taking this role to heart and wants to be the best superhero she can be.
It’s great to see Larson sharing these workout videos. She puts it all out there for us to see, so that we know she means business, and to possibly inspire others to find their inner superhero as well.
