Mark Ruffalo Receives Backlash For Tweet About Kyle Rittenhouse Verdict

Though the Kyle Rittenhouse trial and verdict is almost a week behind us, it’s still a very heavily talked about topic. Celebrities and various others have all given their opinion on it – and now, Marvel Cinematic Universe and Incredible Hulk actor Mark Ruffalo has weighed in – and his tweet is not exactly going over well at the time of writing.

In a Twitter post, Ruffalo said “We come together to mourn the lives lost to the same racist system that devalues Black lives and devalued the lives of Anthony and JoJo”.

There have been other celebrities who have faced similar criticism for their tweets about the subject, including The Mandalorian actor Pedro Pascal and Reese Witherspoon, just to name a couple. While everyone may not have the same opinion on the subject, it’s fair to say that the trial is far from done being discussed – despite being over.

As far as what’s next for Mark Ruffalo, the actor will return as Bruce Banner/Hulk in the upcoming She-Hulk series for Disney Plus.
