While fans continue waiting for Thor: Love and Thunder to receive its first trailer, there have already been a variety of leaks. One such leak for the movie has revealed the face of Christian Bale’s Gorr the God Butcher along with various other character designs. Our first look at all of these designs came from a leaked image of upcoming movie’s action figures. And now, very similar to that, another leaked set of images has revealed the plot of the new MCU film.
As you can see below, images of packaging for the aforementioned action figures has revealed a variety of character designs and plot details for the upcoming sequel. For a film that’s mostly been kept under wraps, this is our first glimpse into the movie’s narrative and how its many different characters will interact.
For example, the back of Valkyrie’s Marvel Legends box includes the following description:
“When a dangerous new visitor threatens the livelihood of New Asgard, King Valkyrie is forced to take up her sword once more to defend her people.”

According to this new leak, we can piece together certain directions that the plot of Thor: Love and Thunder will take. It’s clear that Gorr the God Butcher, using his powerful new weapon, will take on New Asgard. It seems this puts him in the path of King Valkyrie, and thus Thor and Jane Foster will have to step in with their own respective weapons to help save the day. While it’s unknown at what points these events occur in the film’s plot, it certainly matches up with what we’ve seen previously. Hopefully we’ll have more details soon, along with the film’s inevitable trailer.
