The image was shared directly on her Instagram account. And, as appropriately noted by her Instagram caption, the image was taken for “ValentinesSlay.” It’s a reminder that the Buffy the Vampire Slayer star can still conjure up some gorgeous looks any “slay of the week.”
As fans can see, Sarah Michelle Gellar can be spotted with platinum hair, vivid red lipstick, and a pair of heels to match – the only clothing visible on her otherwise exposed body. It’s certainly a beautiful image and one from the beloved celebrity that has managed to earn over 145,000 likes at the time of this writing.

It’s difficult not to share the same reaction. Especially for those who grew up being fans of the star from her appearances in the aforementioned Buffy the Vampire Slayer series, the classic 90’s horror film I Know What You Did Last Summer, or even the first two live-action adaptations of Scooby-Doo. As such, it’s great to see her treat fans with a little something special for Valentine’s Day. Or, again, as she puts it: Valentine’s Slay.
Fans will be seeing more of the star on the screen in the near future. Although she’s mostly taken to voice acting roles for the past decade, she’s set to appear in the upcoming series Wolf Pack based on Teen Wolf. It seems like a fitting role given her role from Buffy the Vampire Slayer. And, of course, one can only hope this will pave the way for additional film and television appearances coming our way. In the meantime – this Instagram photo is certainly a great substitute to behold.
