Netflix Viewers Left Terrified After Watching “Insane” Horror Movie

Netflix is once again scaring subscribers with a horror film available on their streaming service. This time, however, some viewers are saying they’re so scared that they can’t even use the bathroom alone.

The 2021 horror film, Aftermath, is trending on Twitter as many viewers discover the flick for the first time. And, naturally, many viewers are shocked by the subject matter within.

The plot of the film is as follows:

“A young couple struggling to stay together are offered an amazing deal on a home with a questionable past that would normally be beyond their means. In a final attempt to start fresh as a couple, they take the deal.”

It’s certainly a great setup for an eerie and atmospheric film. And if the Twitter reactions below are anything to go by – than the cast and crew involved have succeeded. Here’s what some users have stated:

It’s clear that Netflix viewers are impressed with the horror film and its ability to take a real-life story and turn it into something genuinely haunting. Of course, it goes to show just how much potential the horror genre has. Although some viewers likely won’t feel the same way about the film, it certainly seems like a good pick if you’re in the mood for something spooky. Or, rather, if you need something to help you keep awake at night.

Aftermath was directed by Peter Winther from a screenplay penned by Dakota Gorman based on a story they co-wrote together.

The cast of the film is led by Ashley Greene and Shawn Ashmore.
