Jenna Ortega has become quite the celebrity over the last few years. With appearances in the fifth Scream film, its follow-up Scream VI, X, Wednesday, and a role in the upcoming film Beetlejuice 2, she’s become a widely-recognized name. As such, Ortega does have a wide number of fans. But one video featuring the young star has them getting upset on social media.
As you can see below, a video of Jenna Ortega was shared on Twitter. She can be seen having a conversation with someone while smoking a cigarette. While some users thought it was an attractive sight, others reacted much more harshly, claiming it was a “major turn off.” Others simply believed she should be left to do whatever she pleases.

Ultimately, Ortega is an adult, and as long as she’s not breaking any laws – she’s free to make her own decisions. And considering how well her career is moving, she’s done a very good job with her decision-making. Especially with the upcoming projects that she’s still set to appear in.
As mentioned, she’ll be appearing in the upcoming sequel to Beetlejuice. Fans have been waiting decades for a follow-up to Tim Burton’s hit film. And Jenna Ortega’s role is no small part – she’ll be playing none other than the daughter of Winona Ryder’s Lydia Deetz. Similarly, she’s already playing the latest iteration of Wednesday Addams, and fans can’t get enough of the character.
So, while Ortega might be hooked on a smoking habit these days, it’s certainly not stopping her from being a talented star. We’ll just have to see how her upcoming projects turn out – but it’s clear that Ortega will be giving us plenty of great performances in the near future.
