New Netflix Horror Movie Creeps Out Viewers Enroute To Top 10 Spot

Netflix recently premiered another new horror movie on its streaming service. And, this time, the brand-new horror movie has already earned a spot on the streaming service’s Top 10 movies worldwide.

As shared via FlixPatrol, the new horror flick Run Rabbit Run is already on the #5 spot as of this writing. It’s a surprising spot for a new film, especially going up against a number of other major new hits and other modern fan-favorites, but somehow Run Rabbit Run is making it happen.

Fans are certainly enjoying the film as shared by various social media posts. Here are some of their reactions to Run Rabbit Run:

It’s nice to see a new horror film find an audience so quickly. Especially on a streaming service as competitive as Netflix. Hopefully the streaming platform continues to take chances with premiering new horror films and we’ll continue to see some exciting hits and surprise titles as fans continue to support them.

Daina Reid directed the film from a screenplay penned by Hannah Kent. The cast of the film includes Sarah Snook, Lily LaTorre, Greta Scacchi, and Damon Herriman.

Here’s a brief plot synopsis:

“Sarah is a fertility doctor with a firm understanding of the cycle of life. When she is forced to make sense of the increasingly strange behavior of her young daughter Mia, she must challenge her own beliefs and confront a ghost from her past.”

Of course, not everyone has given a positive review of the film. Though that’s nothing new, especially in the modern age of the internet. But it’s clear that even a film, against all odds, can find an audience. And hopefully that means we’ll get more titles soon. After all, there must be something for everyone.

Stay tuned to ScreenGeek for any additional Netflix news and other horror updates as we have them. For now, Run Rabbit Run can be streamed via Netflix.
