Brie Larson often stays connected with her fans on social media. Now she’s taking the time to share the “hottest fall fashion trend” on X. As it turns out, the new trend is a rather unexpected gaming outfit.
Fans can see Larson curled up in her chair in a rather cozy series of photos. The outfit perfectly puts viewers in the fall mindset, emphasizing that summer is over, and it’s time for some cute sweater weather. Of course, Larson still takes the opportunity to show off her legs with a pair of shorts.

“I call this private label Pikmin,” she writes in the caption for the photos, noting that it’s “(the hottest fall fashion trend).”
Pikmin refers to the small creatures featured on the front of Larson’s sweater. The creatures are plant-like characters that appear throughout the Nintendo franchise of the same name. The series includes four main titles and an additional two spin-offs. The most recent game, Pikmin 4, was released for the Nintendo Switch on July 21, 2023. As such, it’s a fitting time for Larson to wear a sweater with the cute little characters. And, furthermore, it makes sense why they could become such a hot fall fashion trend.
Of course, fans might also be thinking about this year’s upcoming Captain Marvel sequel, The Marvels, when looking at Larson. Especially since it’ll finally be hitting in November after several delays. The new film is set to tie her story with the Disney Plus miniseries Ms. Marvel which featured a cameo for her character at the end of its final episode.
