‘Dream Scenario’ Trailer: Nicolas Cage Stars In Nightmare Comedy From A24

Nicolas Cage has taken on a number of surprising, hilarious, and sometimes chilling roles in recent years. Now he’ll be in the dreams of millions for an all-new movie that moviegoers will no doubt want to watch. As you can see in the trailer shared below, Dream Scenario is a dark comedy from A24. And it usually doesn’t take much more than that to win over audiences.

Of course, it’s possible the film will also reach into horror territory, especially as the official synopsis promises a “dark turn.” The synopsis reads as follows:

“A hapless family man Paul Matthews (Cage) finds his life turned upside down when millions of strangers suddenly start seeing him in their dreams. But when his nighttime appearances take a nightmarish turn, Paul is forced to navigate his newfound stardom.”

Here’s the first official trailer for Dream Scenario which is also produced by Ari Aster and Lars Knudsen of Square Peg, and Jacob Jaffke, Tyler Campellone, and A24:

As mentioned above, this is definitely one that horror fans and fans of A24 won’t want to miss. Likewise, it looks like Nicolas Cage is giving another uniquely memorable performance, so fans of the actor should be pleased as well. Fortunately, with a release date set for early November, there isn’t much longer to wait before moviegoers have an opportunity to see the film.

Kristoffer Borgli wrote and directed the film. In addition to Nicolas Cage, the cast includes Julianne Nicholson, Michael Cera, Tim Meadows, Dylan Gelula, and Dylan Baker.

Fans will be able to check out the dark comedy for themselves in theaters on November 10, 2023.
