Amber Heard: Therapist Notes Prove Johnny Depp Abused Her

Although Johnny Depp has won the most recent trial against his ex-wife Amber Heard, she has yet to back down. In fact, she’s since revealed her intentions to appeal the verdict. She believes that the trial was unfair and that Johnny Depp lied throughout its entirety. Amber Heard also insists that her evidence, which allegedly proves she suffered abuse by Johnny Depp, was not used. This evidence, it seems, exists as “years of notes” taken by Heard’s therapist.

Amber Heard revealed this in a new hour-long interview with NBC’s Savannah Guthrie. A 20-minute-preview of this interview available on Peacock revealed these claims. According to Amber Heard, her therapist has notes that “represented years, years of real-time explanations of what was going on.”

She continued:

“There’s a binder worth of years of notes dating back to 2011 from the very beginning of my relationship that were taken by my doctor, who I was reporting the abuse to,” she explained.

A few of these documents were shown on screen while NBC confirmed they’ve seen the rest. One such document, a note from January 2012, alleges that Johnny Depp “hit” Amber Heard then “threw her against a wall and threatened to kill her.” Meanwhile, other notes claimed he “ripped her nightgown, threw her on the bed,” among other alleged acts.

The reason these notes alleging abuse against Amber Heard were not used in court is that the judge considered them “hearsay” and “inadmissible.” If the court cannot hear these allegations from the person themselves, then it cannot be considered evidence. As such, it seems like Amber Heard’s therapist was not able to testify or she was unwilling to.

Interestingly, a statement from Johnny Depp’s legal team was also read during the NBC interview:

“It’s unfortunate that while Johnny is looking to move forward with his life, the defendant and her team are back to repeating, reimagining and re-litigating matters that have already been decided by the court and a verdict that was unequivocally decided by a jury in Johnny’s favor.”

It seems as though this legal debacle between Amber Heard and Johnny Depp is set to continue. The full interview will be available on Dateline for a release scheduled Friday 8/7c.
