Actor Tom Hanks is often remembered for being a calm and sweet person. It’s a combination of attitudes often illustrated in his film performances as well. This time, however, it appears fans went too far in upsetting the actor. While Tom Hank and his wife Rita Wilson were spotted leaving a restaurant in New York City, a group of aggressive fans and paparazzi began storming the two. At one point, with so many people crowding Rita Wilson, she happened to trip. It was enough for Tom Hanks to become upset, and he curses at them to back off.
Specifically, Tom Hanks’ wife caught his attention when she tripped and yelled, “Stop it!” This is where Tom Hanks clearly had enough. As he can be seen shouting:
“Back the f*ck off!”
After a brief pause, he continues to speak, questioning the group:
“Knocking over my wife?”

After Tom Hanks curses at the group of people, they noticeably obliged, no longer chasing the actor and his wife as closely. However, they continue to try and get Tom Hanks’ attention, with several members of the crowd apologizing. With that said, frequent Disney actor Tom Hanks was still upset, as the actor continually refuses to acknowledge anyone from the crowd. He simply continues on his way and gets inside of a vehicle alongside his wife.
While it might be shocking to see Tom Hanks respond so aggressively, many fans seem to understand his reaction. After all, he was merely attempting to defend his wife who was tripped by the crowd. And considering how difficult it must’ve been to walk through them, it makes sense that he’d be more than a little upset anyways. Although they might be celebrities, they’re still human beings. If they want to simply leave a restaurant then they should be allowed to.
