The American Horror Story television franchise will soon be expanding to New York City with its latest season, American Horror Story: NYC. The new season is set to premiere later this month. As such, FX has unveiled a new teaser trailer for American Horror Story: NYC. And, in typical American Horror Story fashion, it’s both mysterious and bizarre.
The tagline included in the teaser promises that this will be a season like no other. With leather, crowded clubs, decorative skulls, and plenty of neon – it certainly looks that way. While these elements fit in perfectly with the AHS brand, the teaser does suggest that we’ll be seeing plenty of new directions for the eleventh season of the fan-favorite show.

As mentioned above, the teaser does work in typical American Horror Story fashion. The series has become quite well-known for its ambiguous teaser trailers and the use of clues to keep fans intrigued. With that in mind, it’s unknown what the overall plot for this season will include. Hopefully we’ll have more details on that front soon. In the meantime, fans will still have plenty of other horror stories to look forward to, with two more seasons still having been ordered as well as the newer spin-off series American Horror Stories.
The cast for the new season includes the return of Zachary Quinto to the series in addition to Joe Mantello, Billie Lourd, Russell Tovey, Leslie Grossman, Charlie Carver, Sandra Bernhard, Isaac Powell, Denis O’Hare and Patti LuPone.
The new season American Horror Story: NYC will premiere on October 19, 2022. Fans can stay tuned to ScreenGeek for any additional updates for the highly-anticipated American Horror Story season as we have them. In the meantime, however, this new teaser promises a very interesting direction for the long-running seasonal anthology show.
