It’s been awhile since a theatrical horror film has been so absolutely brutal and intense that fans reportedly fainted during screenings. But, as it turns out, that appears to be the case with the newly-released slasher flick Terrifier 2. Many horror fans will remember that the first Terrifier film was a rather gory outing – and now it looks like Terrifier 2 has upped the ante. So much so, in fact, that reports claim Terrifier 2 viewers have both vomited and fainted at different screenings of the film.
As you can see below, there are quite a few reports. Of course, they can’t exactly be confirmed. Though it’s worth noting that Terrifier 2 is not only an extremely violent and gory film – it’s one that was released in theaters uncut. So, for unexpecting audience members, it may very well have been too much on the unsuspecting public. Especially at a time when brutal slasher films are rarely released in theaters as they were decades ago.

With all of those responses in mind, it’s worth noting that this might be the perfect film if you’re in the mood for something shocking or brutal. Fans certainly have some idea what they’ll be getting themselves into based on the first film. Though it’s clear that Terrifier 2 has taken all of that to the next level. Damien Leone both wrote and directed Terrifier 2. David Howard Thornton stars as the film’s iconic villain Art the Clown. The cast also includes Lauren LaVera, Samantha Scaffidi, and Elliott Fullam with a special appearance by Sleepaway Camp star Felissa Rose.
Fans can currently view Terrifier 2 uncut in theaters. It will later be available to stream via ScreamBox.
