Quite a few stars have made allegations against former Nickelodeon network producer Dan Schneider over the years. Now another Nickelodeon star has taken the opportunity to come forward with their own allegations. Alexa Nikolas, who was known for her role on Zoey 101 as Nicole Bristow, made some disturbing claims about Schneider.
Alexa Nikolas made the aforementioned claims while speaking on Christy Carlson Romano’s Vulnerable podcast. In particular, she alleges that Schneider – as a producer of Zoey 101 – used his position to exploit then 12-year-old Nikolas for his personal fetishes.
For example, she claims that Schneider had a fixation on the feet of several underage female cast members and would take pictures of them as a result.
As she explained:
“He had a digital camera, and he would go around with money and ask to take photos of the kids’ feet – their toes,” Nikolas claimed.
And, while she wouldn’t give their names away, she claimed that some of the stars’ parents willingly allowed Schneider to take the photos. This extended to costume fittings for the underage girls, where he would not only view them as they undressed, but allegedly asked for Polaroids during the sessions as well.
In addition to Zoey 101, Dan Schneider was a producer on other Nickelodeon properties including Drake & Josh, iCarly, Victorious, Kenan & Kel, and Henry Danger. As mentioned above, there have been previous stars involved with some of these shows who also made allegations against Schneider. For example, iCarly star Jennette McCurdy strongly implied that Dan Schneider was involved with some disturbing acts according to her memoir and interviews. Dan Schneider ultimately left Nickelodeon in 2018, however, with the departure seemingly having nothing to do with his alleged behavior.
In fact, he claims to have worked on his physical and mental health after leaving Nickelodeon. But as of this writing, the accusations made against him have failed to bring any kind of accountability. As such, Alexa Nikolas continues to protest outside of the Nickelodeon building and their parent company, Paramount. It remains to be seen if these allegations made against Dan Schneider will ever be followed through.
