The Netflix series Black Mirror is well-known for its twists and turns. One episode from its latest season, however, has viewers “sick and horrified” as noted in several social media posts. It looks like even with its sixth season, Black Mirror still knows how to surprise.
The episode titled “Beyond the Sea” is the one that has viewers talking. The episode, which stars Aaron Paul, Josh Hartnett, and Kate Mara, takes place in an alternate version of 1969. Some users were shocked due to its placement after a similarly intense episode titled “Loch Henry.” Others were simply blown away by the episode’s “sick” ending.

Of course, Black Mirror is always expected to generate these kind of shocked reactions from viewers. After all, it’s part of the show’s charm, ever since it first debuted. Its use of real-world issues and science-fiction themes, in addition to innovative examples of storytelling, has resonated with fans for years now. So it’s nice to see that the sixth season of the show is still making a strong impact on viewers – even if it leaves them feeling sick, horrified, or otherwise shook.
