The story of Captain Marvel is set to continue in the upcoming movie The Marvels. As such, we’ll be seeing some interesting twists and turns, including the rumored reveal that Carol Danvers has a husband. Now some leaked merch from The Marvels reportedly reveals just who her husband really is.
The identity of her husband appears to be none other than Prince Yan. The character was revealed in the following image where several toys based on characters from the film were featured. It’s also worth noting that not all of the names are visible. But the account which shared the image claims the names are as follows:

Ms. Marvel
Kree Supremor Dar-Benn
Nick Fury
Prince Yan
Goose
Princess Carol

This would mean that Park Seo-Joon’s character would be Prince Yan. Furthermore, the inclusion of a “Princess Carol” figure seems to indicate that the two would have a marriage at some point in the film. One can assume this might even be a reference to the 2014 comic Captain Marvel #9. The issue followed rockstar mutant Lila Cheney as she was forced into an arranged marriage with Prince Yan. Now it looks like the same setup is happening here in The Marvels, albeit with Prince Yan being the husband of Brie Larson‘s Captain Marvel instead.
The Marvels was directed by Candyman director Nia DaCosta from a script written by Megan McDonnell.
The cast includes Marvel Cinematic Universe stars Brie Larson as Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel, Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan aka Ms. Marvel, and Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau. Samuel L. Jackson also reprises his role as Nick Fury for the film.
