Kenan Thompson And Kel Mitchell Return In ‘Good Burger 2’ Teaser Trailer

The original Good Burger movie was released way back in 1997. Now, several decades later, Good Burger 2 is finally on the way via Paramount Plus. Now, as fans can see below, the first teaser trailer for the long-awaited follow-up has arrived.

Kenan Thompson and Kel Mitchell return to reprise their respective roles from Good Burger for the sequel. And, despite the time between films, the two haven’t seemed to have aged out of their roles one bit. In fact, it’s clear that their comedic timing is more on point than ever before.

Here’s the official teaser trailer for Good Burger 2:

It’s definitely nostalgic to see the two leads together yet again. The original film was initially based on their sketch of the same name from Nickelodeon‘s All That. The film received mixed reviews at the time of its release and managed to earn $23.7 million on an $8.5 million budget. Now, all of these years later, the film has developed enough of a cult following that a sequel is finally on the way.

Phil Traill directed the film which was written by Kevin Kopelow, Heath Seifert, and James III.

In addition to Kenan Thompson and Kel Mitchell, the cast of the film includes Josh Server, Lori Beth Denberg, Alex R. Hibbert, Kamaia Fairburn, Fabrizio Guido, Elizabeth Hinkler, Emily Hinkler, Anabel Graetz, Jillian Bell, Lil Rel Howery, and Carmen Electra.

The film is scheduled to be released via Paramount Plus this fall. Hopefully we’ll have more details about the film’s plot in the near future. For now, the premise revolves around Kenan Thompson’s Dexter Reed and Kel Mitchell’s Ed as the two reunite after twenty-six years.

Fans can stay tuned to ScreenGeek for any additional Paramount Plus updates, including news surrounding Good Burger 2, as we have them. For now, the newly-released teaser trailer assures fans that the highly-anticipated sequel is definitely in good hands.
