Deadpool 3 recently started production with Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman on set to reprise their roles as Deadpool and Wolverine, respectively. And while production was paused due to the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike, plenty of rumors are still surfacing, including new reports that Taylor Swift will appear in the movie as Marvel‘s Dazzler.
Taylor Swift has been making rounds online as her Eras Tour continues to go viral. As such, she would be a fantastic choice to put in the film, and many fans seem to agree. In fact, one such fan depicted what Taylor Swift could look like as the X-Men character Dazzler.
The image was created several years ago but it’s been making the rounds yet again with the newest rumors. Apparently the image was initially illustrated due to rumors that Swift would appear as the character in Dark Phoenix. Unfortunately it didn’t happen. Now it looks like fans are hoping Deadpool 3 could be her next opportunity to play the role.

Of course, we’ll have to take this information with a grain of salt. It could be quite some time before this rumor is confirmed or denied. Especially with production on the film having been paused. At the very least, this artwork provides fans with some perspective on what Taylor Swift’s take on the character could be like.
Shawn Levy is directing Deadpool 3 from a screenplay written by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick. Wendy Molyneux and Lizzie Molyneux previously worked on the film’s screenplay.
The upcoming MCU movie stars Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, Brianna Hildebrand, and Shioli Kutsuna, in addition to returning cast members Karan Soni, Leslie Uggams, Morena Baccarin, Stefan Kapicic and Rob Delaney. Newcomers include Emma Corrin and Matthew Macfadyen.
Deadpool 3 was previously scheduled to hit theaters for a May 3, 2024 release date. Though with the ongoing strikes it could be delayed. Stay tuned to ScreenGeek for any additional updates as we have them.
