Marvel Confirms Return Of Fan-Favorite MCU Character

The Marvel Cinematic Universe has introduced numerous characters over the years. Many of these roles have been replaced or recast, however, as the MCU continues to expand. Fortunately, however, Marvel Studios has now confirmed the return of one fan-favorite character.

The Disney Plus series I Am Groot recently returned for a brand-new season. The show, which takes place during the events between Guardians of the Galaxy and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2, revolves around the titular character as he grows up. Fortunately, it looks like he’s not the only beloved character to appear in the series.

The show’s third episode actually confirms the return of Bradley Cooper as Rocket Raccoon in an off-screen cameo. The character is once again voiced by Bradley Cooper as revealed in the show’s end credits. This is the second appearance for Rocket, who previously appeared in the show’s first episode of the first season.

As for his appearance this time around, Rocket can be heard reacting to a mug as it apparently hits the talking raccoon once Groot knocks it off a table. It’s a humorous moment and one that proves just how much chemistry the characters have together. Thus it’s nice to know that they’re once again reuniting – even if this series takes place before Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3.

Speaking of which, the film did end with Rocket Raccoon in a more prominent role as leader of the Guardians, so it’s possible we’ll be seeing more of him sooner or later. Though it’s unknown what exactly he could return for next. But as the MCU continues to surprise viewers – Bradley Cooper‘s next appearance as the Marvel character could very well be right around the corner.

Fans can currently stream the hit series I Am Groot on Disney Plus. Stay tuned to ScreenGeek for any additional Marvel updates as we have them. For now, let’s hope that Bradley Cooper continues playing Rocket Raccoon for years to come.
